It's a toss up. They all are fitness oriented. Not one stood out in their martial art. They are all the same. A lot of flash, funky music and no substance, just typical commercial establishments. Quite frankly, if I was looking for a teacher to learn Muay Thai from I would probably not train in any of them. I'd contact the Asian community and would try to find out how to find a real Muay Thai instructor who can teach me more than just how to do lots of push ups, lift lots of weight, work out on fancy equipment and maybe a little how to hit hard. Good techniques do not need a lot of strength and go far beyond just hitting hard. I guess they are OK if you want just a good workout and don't care too much about good techniques.
I want to learn muay thai for self defense but im not sure if the school that are close to me are "real" or McDojo". Here are links down below to the schools i can make it too. Which one would you suggest i attend for self defense.
