Do i have to fight in muay thai training?

sparring can be fun.

Fighting, where you and another fighter try to win in a competition, is completely optional.

Sparring, where you and another fighter practice the techniques at full force to improve your skills, is a major part of Muay Thai training. You can opt out of it, but you'll progress slowly and won't be prepared if you ever do get in a fight. They'd probably wonder what was wrong with you if you refuse to spar at an intermediate level or higher.

Yes, they accept "pathetic weaklings". I know because I was one. Believe me, you won't stay that way if you do Muay Thai.

You do not have to fight as such but it is part of standard training to be sparring. This is a great way to hone your skills and use them under duress. Its fine to learn skills but its better to be able to know how our body handles a situation when stressed. This is why Sparring is essential. No you will not be forced to fight people though.

i get picked on by bullies and im scared im gonna get jumped so i decided to learn muya thai do they accept teaching a pathetic weakling because that's what i am and will they make me fight because i wanna learn not get beat up is fighting optional? if i have to then DAMMIT but i guess **** okay then but im still scared
