Im not a doctor, im 14, i know nothing of the causes of blindness.
1.No one is perfect you'll train your way to kick properly.
2.If you were to go blind after a sparring match would be because of serious concussion but I would say the odds are very low to barely unless you're doing it in long term.The worst I had was I suddenly had nose bleed in the middle of the night after I had concussion during sparing in the afternoon and rush to hospital the next day.Don't go if you're afraid.But I think you're over thinking and imagine too much, take a trial class a day or two and see if you like it and decide for yourself later.
You would have more if a chance being struck by lightening then going blind from a shot to the head
Your not going to be throw into an advance environment the will build you up to the pout of sparring before hand
No one is born being awesome at muay thai. Everyone started from 0. So will you. And no you can't go blind.
If you're worried that you could go blind from a strike to the head you might want to consult a doctor. His advice will probably be better than mine or anyone's on this site

im going to do muay thai because im a pathetic paranoid weakling who thinks this is the right thing to do but i have 2 questions 1.i cant kick at all will they accept me? 2. since sparring is important but since im gonna get punched in the face can i go blind because im really scared of getting blind its like the worst thing blind people are the people i most feel sorry for whenever i see a blind person i always help them i way too scared of being blind and can getting punched make me blind i know it might be rare but alot of crazy rare things happen in my life should i go for it anyway can it happen by just practicing? do they usually not give it their all in practice or can i get blind with a good chance becasue they will pound me?
