Losing weight is a simple mathematical equation for most: burn more calories than you're consuming.

If you don't change any of your lifestyle habits, and you increase the amount of exercise you're doing, you'll lose weight, and a portion of that will be in the form of fat.

If you want to have "good abs" then you're going to have to watch what you consume as well. "Good abs" come from a low fat content. While it will help you burn of excess fat, MMA training isn't specifically designed for that, and eating fatty foods is sabotaging yourself.

MMA is a tremendous way to get into shape. Just stick with it man. Good luck

Losing weight and all that is a battle that is won or lost in the kitchen. You eat good, you'll look good. It's more about your diet actually then about training.

I am 25 years old and i havent worked out since past 5 years. All these years i did nothing but drink alcohol smoke cigarette. And i m out of shape. I am not really fatty. I am 5'8, 70 kgs but i have a belly of a 6 month pregnant woman nd i have accumulated too much mass on my face, it feels like i have the head of a dinosaur. I feel disgusted and i hate gym. So i started MMA and i have gone through 3 classes already. And believe me they were full of rigorous workout. My question is can i get back into shape doing this. I was an athlete in school. Can i have good abs doinh this. Will i lose my facial fat doing MMA????
