Can i be a kickboxing instructor without being certified?

I have several fights as a kickboxer and now I want to teach... Do I really need a certification?

Not knowing your geographic region, I'll answer based on mine in the United States while assuming you are not attempting to teach under an established organization's name:

As it relates to martial arts, anybody can teach anything anywhere so long as you have the capitol to generate your start-up. There is no official governing body that oversees martial arts institutions. Essentially, any schlub who has read a book, seen a kung fu flick, or even less who decides he/she wants to open a school and teach can do so, so long as he/she has the financial backing, insurance, and business license to do so.

Obviously, one's reputation will be based on the quality taught, but I've seen more crappy schools that legitimate ones.

So, the short answer: no.

No but if you want insurance company's to back you and not charge as much you should seek some form of certification, also there are no guarantee's about your skill level, several fights could mean you have anything from a few months to just under a few years of experience, people want instructors who are experienced and qualified to teach, talk with your own instructor and ask them if you can seek certification and if you're not ready in their eyes yet just ask if you can start helping instruct with them in classes for beginner's and other less advanced students , there's no point trying to open up your own school yet.
