Can anybody beat Jon "Bones" Jones?

Can anybody even come remotely close to beating him? and don't say Anderson Silva because he will destroy him..

Jones reluctance to fight Daniel Cormier recently is a strong indication I think that Jones thinks and feels that there is a chance there of Cormier beating him. Beyond him I don't see anyone on the horizon right now but MMA fighting is drawing a higher caliber of athlete now than it did five years ago. You also have those from collegiate wrestling entering the cage more these days and some of them like Jones are quality wrestlers who already know how to work out, are disciplined, have experience with cutting and making weight and an extensive background in one facet of MMA already. I think it will be one of those people who will eventually beat Jones down the road in a few years once they have acquired experience in MMA fighting and developed the other skills needed. Otherwise I really don't see anyone that is a clear challenge to him right now of any note.

Not only was Jones a super athlete in college and a decent wrestler but he also really is freakishly tall and proportioned for his weight. This gives him quite a bit of reach and also forces opponents to get closer while punching up to his face which really puts them in closer range for his elbows and Jones has really capitalized on this during his career. Someone like Cormier has been wrestling and fighting taller, bigger guys than himself throughout his career which is why he is so adept at getting into the pocket and inside on his opponents. I think it will take someone like Cormier or one of those new up-and-coming fighters, once they have the experience to beat him.

Don't forget that Jones is getting older and sometimes other fighters have to wait a year or two for a fighter to get slightly older and age to take away some of their ability before they can be beat. Each year it gets a little harder to make weight, and work out and maintain the level they had for fighting when they were younger along with maybe reflexes slowing down a fraction and strength lessening a little. Father Time also might be what's required some for someone to beat Jones also. He would not be the first fighter in the history of fighting for that to be the case.

jones would destroy silva. nobody will beat jones anytime soon. he is too fast and strong and skilled. he should move up to heavyweight where im sure he would dominate division as well but it would make for better fights. he has no competition in light heavy and its getting boring as hell.

chuck norris

yes. think anderson would of beat him. i think cain, glover, jds, reem can beat him.

That should be unknown is not to be defeated.
