Can a 13 Year Old legally own a sword?

You can not buy it, but your father can buy it for you.

Most sword purchases require the buyer to be 18 yrs of age. Especially if the buyer is buying a real deal sword and not a showpiece.

I can't speak for the laws of every state or country. But generally speaking a 13 can not purchase a weapon. But they can have or own them. It has to be purchased by an adult.

Which s word are you talking about? ****?

Hello. I want to know if I am legally allowed to own a sword. The sword I am looking at is based of a sword in Lord of the Rings / The Hobbit. I live in the UK. I'm literally just using it to hang on a wall as a really cool decorative item. I might occasionally show someone and take it down for a minute or 2 to show them the sword but that's it. Would I be allowed to keep a sword in my room? and if someone breaks in to my house it's not like I would run up to them swinging my sword in the air.

I'm looking at this sword:

Thanks.
