Taekwondo is a kind of sport, but not to be a varsity sport.
In theory it could be but usually isn't. And I don't know of any school that has it as such. As Cheetah stated if it wasn't sponsored by your HS and listed specifically as such.
was it offered by your h/s as a sport? more then likely not.

Ive been taking taekwondo since 5th grade and now Im a senior in high school. I am also applying for college apps. I was wondering if I could put taekwondo down as a varsity sport as my extracurricular even though it was not part of any high school. I went to a dojo. I didnt really participate in any other activities because I had tkd almost everyday so basically I only have tkd as my "permanent" extracurricular. Please help me! My future depends on it, which is totally true but also a little over dramatic.
