in other words, for true martial arts, you are never really too old.
>> I'm already 13 years old.
Not a problem.
>> Most of the people I saw doing martial arts on youtube were kids.
YouTube is not the world. Not everyone who studies martial art post video on You Tube - we are too busy practicing.
>> And one more problem is I'm a girl. Other girls understand that I can't always practice martial arts.
So what. There are women athletes who compete in the Olympics and other venues. Why are you any different.
>> And also I am very busy in school. But I really want to learn. Can I still manage to learn it after having
these kind of problems?? Thanks!!
That depends on you. Do you really want to learn and are willing to make the effort to train or are you just infatuated with the idea of being a martial artist?
Firstly let me say this.... Most people do not start martial arts until their late teens or even much older.
secondly i am a woman and have done martial arts all my life and there is not really ever a time when you cannot be training. sometimes just extra care needs to be taken.
I was still training even during University and with a young family. Its all about resourcing your time.. effective time management is the key.
Sure you can train and be successful. The excuse of womens problems are a poor one at best. because there are many dedicated female martial artist with years and years of experience
You absolutely can martial arts are for any age, size etc. There are people in there fifty's that start and reach black belt. You'll just have to work out a schedule if you're busy
I started judo when I was 19 years old. One of my best training partners was a woman named Laura who could not only toss me around the room, but had enough of an understanding of the art to really teach me a lot. There's nothing holding you back. Have fun.
Yes you are too old. Unless you are taken away from your mother at birth for the specific reason to train martial arts it is no use. Sorry.
Good grief you're only 13 which is a great age to start. I've seen people start in their 40s and do well.
