I have not bought a Shinai, but I have used E-Bogu a few times for other items. I have found them to be easy to deal with and to carry good products. I have never had an issue where I needed to use their customer support.

E-bogu has good shinai, though I wouldn't buy the hakama/dogi or bogu from them. There are better places to buy those.

I have purchased quite a few shinai from them over the years, and they've lasted longer (for the most part) than what you'd normally expect from a shinai. Their shipment is usually pretty fast as well, so that's a bonus - they also have pretty good customer service.

Another good place (and the place where I bought my bogu from) is All-Japan Budogu. They have amazing customer service and really top-notch stuff for the price you pay. The only downside is that it is shipped from Japan so it'll take a week or more to get to you.

I'm looking for a starter shinai, I'm looking at buying one from either e-bogu through amazon, or from onlinekendo.com. Does anyone have any experience ordering from e-bogu, or onlinekendo. Which site carries a better product or has better customer support, thank you for your time.
