Popular culture surely made it to promote such 'beautiful' actions. But you don't wanna think how 'aesthetic' you are while fighting. No.. You don't wanna know. You'll just need self-control, stamina, techniques, etc. The most effective movements. And that still doesn't guaranteed you'll win in every fight.
You can choose whatever you feel comfortable and fun with. Any martial arts will do as long as you really put efforts in training. It's for your experience anyway. But if you really wanna do something more applicable on the streets.. with punches, kicks, elbows, etc.. You can try MuayThai, JeetKunDo, etc. Or the combined ones like KravMaga, MMA, Russian Systema, etc.
My choice for you, would be MuayThai (good for training basic punches, kicks, elbows, knees, etc), JeetKunDo (to experience closer body contacts but still standing fighting techniques with punches, etc), MMA (you'll get more combined techniques experience) and KravMaga (Israeli's Self Defense Arts, 'anything goes' and 'everything is necessary' for street fighting). That's all from me.
Your choice.
I want to learn how to fight but not sure what style.
Im not those people who look for trouble.
I wouldn't want to use any kind of weapons to fight unless its absolutely necessary. I like how Bruce Lee or Jackie chan fight but im mostly interested in using my fist throwing punches. what type of style you think is best for me?
