Best MMA combinations?

should I learn them or sit alone and think of the most comfortable and best combination for me? can someone give me a good combination for double leg set up?

You should learn them, but there's nothing wrong with pondering what combinations work best for YOU. The ideas aren't mutually exclusive.

I don't think there has ever been an honest-to-god study on what combinations have been most successful in MMA. Honestly, the quality of striking in MMA, while constantly improving, is still not quite at the level of pure striking arts/contests overall. Most MMA fighters will throw a jab-cross, occasionally adding a hook or rear round kick on the end of it.

That said, shots with the rear hand, like the cross or overhand, square up your hips well and put your body into position for a double-leg. A cross to the body or an overhand both also involve a level-change, which also helps get you into double-leg position. So combinations ending with those two techniques might be your best bet. That said, don't settle for "a" good combination. Have three or four. Keep the opponent guessing.

Talk to your coach, or the guys in your gym who are successful at setting up their takedowns with strikes. If you don't have a coach and don't train in a gym, then you don't have the techniques to make these successful anyway; get to one.

I learn most of my combinations from sparring, that's when you get a chance to see what works for you. Ask your coach about it, try new things when you're shadow boxing, or look up some vidoes on the internet. Usually anything that backs your opponent to the fence or gets them to cover up is a good setup for the double.

This question makes no sense. There is no such thing as a combination for a double leg set up. You can set up your opponent to do a double leg in various ways.

No I can't. All you can do is a get a sparing partner, try out different combinations and see which one you favor.
