(Im 14 and my gym goes by IBJJL rules) So my first tournament is coming up in a week and I have been getting ready and have been brushing up on the rules but it didn't answers one of my questions. Can white belts use blue or purple belt moves on another white belt because I have been taking adult classes with some other kids my age and we learn blue or purple belt moves so in a tournament can we use these moves. One of the main ones is the calf lock which im not 100% sure if its a blue move.So do I have to sick to what I have learned in the beginners class or what.
