Are these katanas worth buying?

Absolutely no good. Just a few seconds of scanning down the prices tells me all I need to know. Any Katana worth having is going to cost several times their prices. It is impossible to have good workmanship and good materials and then come up with a sword for that low a price.

If you simply must have a sword at least get something that is not junk. The cheapest decent Katana I know of are found at Cheness. http://www.chenessinc.com/

A katana is going to start at around $220 or more. I have the Kazi-Ko Katana. It is well made and of good quality materials.

Warning: unless you have been trained in how to use a katana correctly you are dealing with something that is unforgiving and will seriously injure or kill you before you even realize that you have made a mistake.

...

cheness is a good brand. I bought a cheness tenchi in 2007 and it cuts like new. If you want to learn more about buying swords, google 'sword buyers guide.' That was the homework I did before buying.

No, but Kult of Athena is pretty good. Just be sure to get a "Battle Ready" sword:

Obviously not the real thing for that money. If you want one, it's up to you.

No.

I was looking on discussion forums and apparently one of the websites that have, and I say this very sarcastically, affordable katana is true swords.com. Now I know true katana are very, very expensive ranging several thousand dollars or more but I don't know they test these on the tameshigiri mats and all that and they work like all the high quality katana would. there is a link below so tell me what you think. should I buy them or not?
