I agree with Samuraiwarrior. You will not know if they are allowed until you get to the tournament. I have seen one tournament allow some gloves and the next tournament not allow the same gloves. If you buy these and then they are not allowed in tournaments than what good are they to you. That is a lot of money to pay for something you can't use....

They are not actually foam dipped and so you might encounter some problems with some referees. If I was using a glove like this then I would have the tournament director clear them first to avoid problems later at the ring when lining up for fighting. If he has approved them already then it could help avoid problems for you at the ring.
Depends on the tournament but I'd have to say that there will be a good number where you would not be allowed to use these gloves for point fighting.
