I'm agreeing with bigdog. The things illegal which means after you use it you're going to have run from the police. If you run from the police it'll seem like YOU jumped the attacker. Check your laws and stick with one of the legal defense methods. Also being creative in self defense carry weapon doesn't give you any extra points in the eye of law. Matter in fact, being creative will get you farther and farther into trouble. Stick with the boring standard pepper spray, taser, knife, or concealed carry guns(with proper license and training) as the law allows.

And try to get training if possible, because weapon is useless if you can't draw it within a second.

Why would you escape from a guy who is trying to mug you? if he ants your wallet of phone just give it to him. No point trying to hit him and end up getting stabbed or shot, or even ending up in prison because you hit him and then he died as a result.

Your money would be better spent buying a book that will teach you the skills needed to avoid begin mugged in the first place.

Im just gonna tell you, brass knuckles are illegal. Im not sure why, but they are. Now that weve gotten that out of the way... id say yeah, they look to be sturdy. You need to know how to fight with them. Brass knuckles wont just save you, you need to know how to punch and defend your self. This just adds extra "umph" onto your punches. If youre worried about being jumped, id recommend pepper spray. As far as I know, pepper spray is legal, and you dont need to know how to fight.

They are illegal almost everywhere. Having them can get you into big trouble with the law.

Gotta know how to punch before you could use them anyway, and if you know how to punch then why do you need them? They wont help against multiple attackers, weapons, or someone who is a better fighter.

Besides all of that, i thought they were illegal which would make them a concealed weapon. Which means criminal charges against you.... im not sure where you live but they are illegal here. Even then a set of keys or roll of coins works well and are not illegal to have.

I have no fear of brass knuckles. You need to be good enough to hit me first and i wont be letting that happen and there is no way an attacker is going to let that happen, they dont want to square up and fight you, they want to mug you when you are vulnerable and cannot defend yourself.

I heard they will never be detected by metal detectors because of the material it is made out of, which makes me want to buy it. Are these Knuckles worth it? And can they do serious damage and help me escape from a guy trying to mug me?
