Are UFC boxing classes any good?

You have to learn how to crawl before you learn how to walk and run and that is one of the ways I start those off who don't have any prior experience. The skills you are learning and developing working that bag are much easier to learn and develop to begin with because the bag does not think, react, and punch back nor does it attack. Learning and developing those skills becomes much more difficult and too hard for most to learn when they have a real opponent instead. Even then those with training and experience will still go back to working with that bag to further learn and develop their skills also so try to be patient here is what I am saying. When you are ready is when your coach will put you in there with a real person and even then they won't totally turn that more experienced partner lose on you probably.

A boxing session in my humble (read: arrogant) opinion MUST have the following to be considered a boxing session.

1. Warm up.

2. Bag work

3. Pad work with a partner.

4. Sparring

6. Cardio

7. Plyometrics, calisthenics, ect.

8. Warm down.

If it has most of the above, you should be okay.

Maybe, as a beginner, you don't do this, but do you see others doing it? If not, it's a McGym for sure.

The layout of the gym is the same, so you might see similar training due to equipment, but it really depends on the coach. The UFC gyms don't have a set teaching materials or anything, so one place will do things one way and another place will do something different. You'll just have to go check it out yourself.

I can't be certain but for me it sounds like a McDojo. It sounds to me like it's a fitness gym that tries to lure in more customers by adding UFC to their name. And to be honest you have only yourself to blame. You have clearly done no research whatsoever. The UFC, or Ultimate Fighting Championship, is an organization that promotes MMA, mixed martial arts. It has absolutely nothing to do with boxing. Boxing has other organizations such as the WBA, World Boxing Association. I hope you haven't signed any contracts.

1 I am new in the country so I didnt know much

2 no I am on a monthly plan no contract

I just signed up for some boxing classes at my local UFC gym...

instructor is cool, equipment is good etc.. so no complaint BUT it seems like all they do is train on a punching bag...

Has anyone ever tried UFC? Is it any good?

I mean I would like a club that teaches on bags but also helps us develop real combat techniques...so I am kind of concerned this is not the right place for me...
