Any tips on discipline?

I don't feel this is in the right section. Discipline is a by product associated to martial arts training. Martial arts don't cover this completely.

Though if you are finding it difficult. Don't expect to become an all capable idol in one day. Start little by little and tie up each work you hate with a reward you love. Self control is like how human muscles work. Keep doing little bit and another bit more. Don't allow the muscle to rest too much and rework that muscle at regular periods.

1. Don't fast. Hunger makes you apathetic and ruins your attention span. Fasting as a self-control exercise is a classic cause of anorexia.

2. Manage your energy levels. You could be avoiding work because you're burned out from something you just completed.

3. Look into meditation. Proper meditation practice will increase your attention span and ability to focus. It's much healthier than starving yourself.

If you fast regularly, to the point where 10 hours seems short to you, then you need to see a doctor. You could have an eating disorder. Ironically, the eating disorder itself could be why you feel so out of sorts.

Just discipline in general, I have a problem where I can't sit and do work for too many hours sometimes. I also tried fasting today for the whole day, only made it to 10 hours and caved and ate tons of fruit. I feel like kind of weak, I need self control and strong iron fisted discipline.
