Any exercises i can adapt around my broken thumb?

you can try doing pushups on the wrist. OF course like you mentioned lower body and abs. How abt lower back? do bridges and hip raises. And 1 arm PU will target the bicep of the arm your using. You can still do other things like shadow box or kata . Just modify them around the injury. Because of thumb you can still utilize knife edge and spear hand and even elbow. Just work around the injury, don't let it limit you.

Don't do anything with either arms. Doing one arm push ups for 5 days is not going to buy you anything.

If you want to exercise, do lower body workouts such as running, squats, etc. Work on your legs, abs, and back. 5 days is not that big a deal. If you have already been working out regularly before your injury, you are not going to loose anything in 5 days that you cannot get back within a couple of weeks.

I've been doing martial arts for over 2 years and I've recently broke my thumb, now im not allowed back in the dojo for at least another 5 days when the doc gives thumbs up but im wondering if these are good exercises I can do in the dojo instead.

1 armed push ups instead of normal ones.

Squats, Tuck Jumps, Sit ups, Running, other hand and focus more on kicking until i recover?

Will 1 armed push ups also target the other bicep of will it only focus on my weaker right hand. and will running help keep my left bicep toned?
