I'm not sure he has the longevity or impact to go down as a "legend" in kickboxing. He's not a pioneer like Peter Aerts or the "grand old man" that Ernesto Hoost was. I just think he'll be seen more as an MMA fighter, since he's spent so much more time there. Winning a Grand Prix is no joke, but compared to the guys who are really considered legends, who is he?
He did win the WGP, but he was aided with Remy Bonjasky and Badr Hari not taking part in that years tournament. He still won it, it is an achievement, but with a number of multiple time winners, his name will go down after theirs.
